Poem: London Foods

London is a melting pot of different nations’ cuisines

So why is the pallet so monochrome?

Give Lebanese kibbeh to a Nigerian, no problem.

Give Jamaican coco bread to a Pakistani, dissatisfied customer.

Problem is, in melting pots favouritism drowns some flavours out of taste.

Maybe London should be a chain of food stalls; all dishes get a fighting chance to be viewed.
